What is your rate?

Fees for background music are based by the hour, and include cartage fee (transporting the harp from place to place).  Fees for wedding ceremony are a flat fee, and include a consultation with the couple to assist in music selection. Travel outside of the western suburbs may include an additional mileage fee.  Rehearsals with vocalists or other collaborative musicians will incur a rehearsal fee.  Please contact me with details about your event for a final price quote.

We have a special song that isn’t listed on your site.  Can you play it?

Please note that the list on this site is only a partial listing of songs that are available.  If I do not have your special song in my current repertoire, I am happy to discuss learning it for your event.  If there is piano music written for the song, chances are I can play it!

How much room do you need for the harp?

I require a flat surface of 6X6 to accommodate the harp, music stand, and bench.  Due to potential moisture, the harp may not be placed on grass/ground.

Where can I hear you play?

I have several song samples included in my repertoire list on this website.  There are also occasions where I may play at public events, and would love to have you come out and hear me perform live.  Feel free to ask where my next public event is when we talk.

Can you play outdoor events?

Sure I can!  Many beautiful weddings take place outside, and I am happy to play for them.  However, there are certain special conditions that need to be met in order to protect the instrument from potential damage.  The harp must rest on a dry, level surface, and never on open ground.  The harp should be in the shade, preferably with a covering.   Please note that moisture will ruin a harp, so if there is the slightest sprinkle and the harp is not under a covering, I will cover the harp and move it to a protected area.
